01 Dec 064: How to get your pricing strategy right for maximum profit – with Jon Manning
I interview Jon Manning, a pricing expert who shares insights and ideas to how you can price your offerings for maximum profit. Jon runs two companies, a pricing consultancy, Sans Prix and Pricing Prophets, an online portal providing access to thought leaders around the globe with expertise across a range of verticals.
Why is knowing how to price your service important? Have you ever bought a product or service only to walk down the street to see it being sold for a much higher or lower price point? If so, you’ll understand that pricing is not always a fixed variable.
With a strong track record of successfully helping companies, Jon is internationally recognised as an expert and his passion for optimal pricing strategies ensures that, on average, he achieves at least a 20.9% revenue uplift for companies he works with.
I can personally vouch for the advice Jon provided to the Yellow Pages when I worked there and the impact that had on a product line that grew by multi-millions of dollars within the 12 months thereafter.
In this episode you’ll learn:
- Why value is subjective and context changes pricing
- Why Jon chose to launch Pricing Prophets as a vehicle to leverage his business
- Several common pricing mistakes many companies make
- 3 simple rules to maximise your pricing profits
