In this interview, we spend time with Hall of Fame keynote speaker Patricia Fripp. These days, Patricia Fripp is considered one of the world’s leading conference and keynote speakers – though it didn’t always start out like that.
Patricia arrived in San Francisco from England at age 20 as a hairstylist with no job or contacts – and little money. Patricia excelled in the beauty industry and became San Francisco’s most in-demand men’s hairstylist when that was a new domain.
Such was her passion for training others that she began speaking to promote her business – which led onto becoming her new vocation, keynote speaking.
Since then Patricia has gone achieve just about everything possible within the profession. She has been awarded the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), Hall of Fame keynote speaker, Cavett Award (the Oscar for speakers) and has been named “One of the 10 most electrifying speaker’s in North America” by Meetings and Conventions magazine.
These days, Patricia helps executives and sales professionals to communicate with impact and persuasion so they can be more effective in their communication – whether they are speaking 1:1 or to a room of hundreds.
