09 May 084: Build a personal brand that precedes you, with Winston Marsh
Today’s interview is with Winston Marsh, a pioneer of the Australian professional speaking circuit and a revered adviser who has built a reputation as a marketing and sales expert over his 40-year career.
Like any good speaker, it doesn’t take much to get Winston on song, and he in our conversation, he shares a raft of simple yet powerful tactics to build up your influence, your client base and your income.
With a background in selling, Winston was well accustomed to giving client presentations and it was on the back of his first paid speaking gig that he decided to bite the bullet and pursue his passion.
Since then, he has been able to build a personal brand and a successful career doing what he loves while making a valuable impact and contribution to the lives of thousands of people.
With 4 children in private-school, he didn’t need any more motivation to know that succeeding was a must.
He has since spoken on virtually every platform in the country and been the recipient of multiple industry awards, including Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), was the inaugural winner of the Golden Mike Award, and has received the Nevin Award for greatest contribution to his industry.
